-3 children appear at each question and each of them say some bark or note in Japanese.

Q1 "What animal or creature says like that?" "----------"

-You answer some name of the animals or creatures.

-The right answer.

-Shimizu asks you,"What -------(the very animal of the

right answer) says in English?"

(Please tell us what the animal says in your language.

[Mail to Bob in Victoria from Japan side]

Dear Bob,

It really was a great help !

I know that it was your busiest time of the morning and I hesitated to ask your help at first, but when we found that the expected link with Minneapolis was technically down, there was no other sites but you to ask such sudden help.

There were some children you met on the screen, and there was a pressman reporting that video link with you. He is from one of the biggest newspapers in Japan, and his interests stayed on the videoconference for children and also PTA group which organized this local activity for local school children. For me, it was simply hard to discourage them. Please understand, and accept our great thanks to you. Bob, it seems I owe you a lot. :-)

The following messages are from mothers and their children who talked with you yesterday morning. They set up PTA group of Shimizu Elementary School recently and named it as "SHIMIZU Tele Class".

Thank you from Yoko again too. Yoko

We are very thankful to you, Mr. Bob, for spending your precious time for us today. We were very pleased to see you and to show you our "show".You and Michael (?) are VIPs for us today. We also enjoy your "show" because you and Michael are very good mimics.

Now, we missed that we have not asked you anything about Victoria nor Australia. We should have talked with you besides riddles.

We don't know when we learn on Australia at school, but I am happy to see you today.

Yoko

I had fun! It was a wonderful way to start my day and I told other teachers about it all day!

My students (16-18 years old) came into the room during the VC; I think they thought I had gone crazy when they heard me making animal noises. Thank you.

Best regards,

Bob I*EARN Australia Management Team
