Dear Yasuhiko Ito
This is Ank Crees from Corryong in Victoria, Australia. I am sorry I am so late with my reply. I have had a lot of trouble with the E-mail set up. Hopefully it will work now. I have switched on the tele-conference equipment- right now - and am waiting to talk directly to you. I hope technology will not let us down! Isn't it all wonderful!(When it works). I am still busy finalizing the list of participating students. Most of my students play port on a Saturday and it was very difficult to find some who could come. I have passed on the list with the names of your students to my students and hope that the kids will take up contact. My group consists of (probably)5 year 8 students (Chuugakkoo no ninensei) and 10 year 9 students (Chuugakkoo no sannensei). They are working on a list of questions and will tell me later in the week which part they will present and I will E-mail you these details as soon as I know. They will introduce themselves in Japanese and then speak in English.

Great! I just got through to Japan via tele-conference! Everything worked! I could hear you quite clearly and see you at the same time: very interesting.
The slight problem with the sound was because I was speaking too close to the micriphone I think, it should be better with the microphone on the table. Just to confirm : we will have another trial this Friday at 5.20 Australian time. And then all set to go with the students on Saturday. The time-slot for our presentation from 11:30 till 12:10 is fine because most of my students need to leave at 12:20 to go and play netball. (Sport competition is fierce in the country) I must apologize for the small number of boys but most of them are not very interested in Japanese and even those who are are not willing to give up their spare time for it.
Best wishes
Ank Crees

Dear All
Thank you for your cooperation to success the Asahikwa - Victoria Teleclass day.
Bob, thank you for coordinating Victoria side.
I also appreciate Ms. Futojima to coordinate Asahikawa side,
We had sound trouble and it was sometimes very hard to listen to their presentations and replies, However, both students did good jobs, and had a nice time, I think,
I'm grateful to Mr. Matsuzawa, and Mr. Kanno for arranging the Internet live video of these conferences.
I'll make a link to this live video from our Teleclass home page. Now you can watch the Meisei's part from the home page of Meisei HS.http://www.hokkai.or.jp/asahikawameisei-h/kaigi.htm
Mr. Nakatani, thank you for calling to Corryong SC, when we had a trouble connecting. And I'm very sorry to have kept you and your students wait so long for starting the conference.
We'll make a report and web pages of this conference. So, if you have something (scenarios of presentations, comments etc.) to hep us to make it, please send them to us.
Best regards,
<TIJ KYOKO>
