●Introduction
On March 8, 2002, two
days before the commencement, 170 ninth graders at Ohzu Junior High
School held a final concert. As the closing event of their
activities during their junior high school days, they sang thirteen
songs on the subject of peace. One of the songs was made from the
exchange of ideas between the students and the Hiroshima Chorus. The
words of this song included a declaration of peace students made.
Added in this song is a message from Mr. Mohsen Makhamalbaf, a film
director who produced
"Kandahar". In the 21st century, with cooperative work,
junior high school students in Hiroshima have created the song
"Negai". From this concert a lasting impression was
created.
